Important information regarding the use of our idea documentation and intellectual property services.
Last Updated: January 30, 2026
BrainTrust Continuum, together with its subsidiaries and affiliates ("BrainTrust", "we" or "us"), operates a platform where users can submit ideas and receive assistance in documenting and vetting those ideas as intellectual property. We are not a bank or financial institution. We do not provide banking, investment or financial services of any kind. We are not attorneys and do not provide legal advice or representation. Our services are designed solely for educational and documentation purposes.
The information and services provided by BrainTrust are general in nature and do not constitute legal, tax, investment, financial or other professional advice. We do not solicit, recommend, endorse or offer to buy or sell any financial products or securities. You should not rely on any information or materials provided by BrainTrust to make legal or financial decisions. You are responsible for obtaining independent legal, tax or financial advice from qualified professionals.
Our role is to receive your ideas, conduct a limited review for originality based on the information you provide and public records available to us, and document supporting metadata. If an idea appears original and is approved for deposit, we will issue an Idea Card and mint the idea on a Web3 blockchain to create a provisional receipt of ownership. These receipts reflect our good-faith assessment to the best of our knowledge; however, our review is not exhaustive, and we cannot guarantee absolute originality or exclusivity. If evidence emerges that someone else documented the idea earlier, the deposit and associated receipt may be voided.
The Idea Card and blockchain mint are intended as a first step in documenting your idea. They do not confer conclusive legal rights, nor do they replace formal intellectual property protections. You are solely responsible for conducting further discovery and securing definitive protection for your idea through appropriate legal means. This may include seeking trademarks, patents, copyrights or other registrations, and consulting with attorneys or other professionals to validate and protect your rights. If you intend to convert a Web3 idea into a real‑world asset (RWA), you should engage qualified lawyers and officials to ensure compliance with all applicable laws.
Submitting an idea to BrainTrust does not guarantee acceptance, commercialization, enforceability or future success. We do not warrant the legal validity or enforceability of any documentation or receipt issued. We expressly disavow liability for any disputes or losses arising from competing claims of ownership or from your reliance on our documentation. You use our services at your own risk.
By accessing or using BrainTrust Continuum's services, you acknowledge and agree to our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. You also understand and accept the limitations of our services and the need to obtain independent professional advice to fully protect your intellectual property.
